I need some ideas on decorating a sunroom, can you help?


To give applicable advice, just a bit more info would be helpful. So, the most I can offer is to ask yourself these questions and then surf accordingly: what's the room going to be used for (lounging, reading, goofing off, nurturing exotic houseplants)? Is this a large scale project (buying all new furniture, tearing down a wall or two) or just a small budget touch up (like your other responder offered in their answer)? Do you have a green thumb that would welcome the addition of some new flowering plants? Visit the sites below to get some direction/inspiration. Or consider Better Homes and Gardens. They published a magazine I believe with the subheading of "Budget Decorating" or something along those lines. See if you can find it at the local library. I need decorating advice, with my sunroom, can you help?
My sunroom has 3 windows 70x70 and one window that measures 35x70, are those so small for blinds? What and how should I fix it up, I would like to put my computer in there and make it our office space. Maybe it would be to hot in there for a computer! The sunroom measures 154 inch long and 90 inches wide, hard wood floors, it is a pretty room it just needs tweeking! The windows are double-?? , they look like my other windows in the house! There are two air vents in there as well!

ok, i work for a sunroom company, is this a 3 season room or year round room.. does it have double paned glass?? i dont recomend a computer unless you have a heat/cool unit to keep it cool. we sell rattan furniture, as in sofas, chairs, rockers, ottomans, tables. its really cool on how you can design them. look up our website if you want.... tdbetterlivingsunrooms.com its a bit out of date, but it will give you ideas on our showroom. good luck!! ps im not trying to sell you anything.. just trying to show you what others do. you can go to a sunroom place and look at display pix on other rooms they built. its another way to get ideas on how others design theirs..

I'm turning a sunroom into a bedroom, any tips?
Hey all, I'm 14 and living in a 3 bedroom house with 5 people. I've shared a room my whole life and yeahh.. I'm getting sick of it. Cleaning out of the sunroom has started and getting everything ready for me to move in. Decorating wise and just to make it un-sunroomy I need a few tips. Thankee muchly :)

I hope you live in the deep south since sunrooms are not designed as bedrooms. You will need a connection to the houses heating system, since space heaters are not safe for bedrooms. You will also need to cover up some of the glass with drapes for provacy.
