I need decorating advice, with my sunroom, can you help?
My sunroom has 3 windows 70x70 and one window that measures 35x70, are those so small for blinds? What and how should I fix it up, I would like to put my computer in there and make it our office space. Maybe it would be to hot in there for a computer!
The sunroom measures 154 inch long and 90 inches wide, hard wood floors, it is a pretty room it just needs tweeking!
The windows are double-?? , they look like my other windows in the house! There are two air vents in there as well!
ok, i work for a sunroom company, is this a 3 season room or year round room.. does it have double paned glass?? i dont recomend a computer unless you have a heat/cool unit to keep it cool. we sell rattan furniture, as in sofas, chairs, rockers, ottomans, tables. its really cool on how you can design them. look up our website if you want.... tdbetterlivingsunrooms.com its a bit out of date, but it will give you ideas on our showroom. good luck!! ps im not trying to sell you anything.. just trying to show you what others do. you can go to a sunroom place and look at display pix on other rooms they built. its another way to get ideas on how others design theirs..

How do I have a big birthday party in a small house, and can you help me find some themes?
My 13th birthday is coming up and I'm inviting a lot of people. The only problem is my parents dont want to spend a lot of money by taking my friends out so the only thing i can do is have it at home. But I dont even have a basement and the only place i can have my party is in my small family room which is right next to my kitchen and sunroom. Is there anyway I can decorate my house to make it look bigger and better? I also need a fun and interesting theme because I cant just have a boring normal party. please give me some ideas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
oh, and it's too cold to have it outside.
Well you can't make it bigger than it is!! Do you have a garden? If you do, you could maybe have it outside but it might be really cold! Could you cut down on the number of people coming, there don't have to be loads of people to make it special and it means it's less cramped! Or if you want to go out you could go somewhere where your friends have to pay to go as well so you're not paying for everything? Or ask your parents to go halves with you/your friends on it so nobody's spending too much! As for themes, it depends what you all like, obviously enough! Ask around, get ideas, and have fun! Hope this helps :)
Help planning birthday party? inviting a bunch of people, have a small house though :\?
helloo (: i'm starting to plan a birthday party for my 14th, but i'm a little behind since my birthday was on friday. i would like to be able to invite a lot of people, but my house is really small (one story). the good thing though is that literally across the street from my house theres this huge park with a soccer/baseball field, basketball court, sand volleyball court, and like a playground thing. so i was thinking a we could like hang out there for a while and let people do whatevs they wantt, and then if they wanna come inside there would be this room (i added it on a few years ago, its like a sunroom. its pretty big.) that we would clear out and have like blacklights and music and decorate it and stuff. there would be pizza and sodas and snacks and stuff too. my parents are gonna be home thoughh :\ so i dunno. do you think that'd be fun? any ideas? thanks.(:
A house doesn't have to be a big for an awesome party. It's cool that you have a park right across, but if you just let ppl go there and do whatever you want, that's not going to be much fun. Maybe you could talk to the manager of the park and maybe decorate the park a little and have the party there. I'm not sure they would let you do that, but you should definitely try. The sunroom idea sounds really awesome! You should decide on a theme, like maybe a color scheme. http://party.lovetoknow.com/Teen_Party Here's a website that may help you in your party planning. I'm currently planning a party too, so I just did a lot of Google searches for parties and have come up with a great idea. Good luck!
What to do if it rains on your backyard LUAU?
We have a long tent but it is a real pain to put up, takes 2-3 hours and 4-5 people!!! Our yard is small and not level at our new house so we are not even sure if we have that option to put it up anyways. I did decorate our sunroom, but 50 people are a lot to cram into a small house!!! Any ideas? Thanks...
Answer to comment:
I do have a gazebo up, but its not big enough for 50 people. Its only 10 x 10, we have only 1 table and chair set in it.
Dance in the rain! If it really will rain, then put up the long tent the morning of, yeah it's a pain, but it'll be worth it. Let people go in and out. Put food out in the sunroom, put out some chairs and stuff, and let people just decide if they want to go out or not. Good luck.
